Closing ceremony

Official closing of the Summit, hosted by Xavier Lord-Giroux (he/him), the Summit's master of ceremonies. The ceremony will make room for an artistic performance by Xénia Gould (she/her), nourished by a process carried out throughout the event: by gathering testimonies and impressions from the audience, she will build a sensitive, embodied performance inspired by the voices, emotions and reflections shared over the three days.

Originally from Dieppe, Xavier Lord-Giroux (he/him) is a host and columnist. In 2025, he and his husband became fathers to two young daughters through in vitro fertilization. Since then, they have been advocating for improved access to assisted reproduction for male couples in New Brunswick.

Xénia Gould (she/her) is an actor, poet, drag performer, and comedian from Acadia. After completing a degree in Drama Studies at Mount Allison University and pursuing theatre training in Canada and abroad, she has appeared in several screen projects, including MONA, En Tchèque part d’autre qu’icitte, and Ça clique. She has also built a vibrant drag practice through her alter ego Chiquita Mère and continues to develop her writing through poetry, notably in her collection des fleurs comme moi, marked by a voice that is sensual, irreverent, and deeply rooted in her home territory.
