Workshop 3

This workshop explores the Francophone/Acadian Queer identity in Canada, zooming in on the personal, social, and medical dimensions of identity. It offers space to reflect on what health means to Francophone 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and the impact of these intersecting identities within health care systems. The workshop seeks to spark a conversation about the challenges faced but also about the systemic changes needed to promote more equitable and inclusive access to care.

Dr. Chúk Odenigbo (he/him) is the Consulting Director of Impact Evaluation at the Tamarack Institute. He is interested in the connections between the environment, human health, and social justice. With training in environmental science, chemistry, public health, and medical geography, Chúk works on issues related to environmental and climate justice and is actively involved in a range of systemic and social change-making spaces.
