Workshop 2

This session will highlight recent projects from the Interdisciplinary Research Hub on Diversity and Equity (PRIDE) at the Université de Moncton. Through a series of short presentations, the symposium will showcase the range of research being carried out on issues affecting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, with a focus on well-being, equity, inclusion, and knowledge mobilization. It will also provide an overview of ongoing work and collaborations developed between academic and community settings.

Annie Roy-Charland (she/her) is a Full Professor in the School of Psychology at the Université de Moncton, a clinical psychologist, and Co-Director of PRIDE. Her research focuses on social cognition and also includes interdisciplinary projects related to diversity, equity, and well-being.

Roger « Rodge » LeBlanc (he/him) is an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Leisure Studies at the Université de Moncton and Co-Director of PRIDE UMoncton. His work focuses on the well-being, inclusion, and overall health of marginalized populations, particularly 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
