How can professionals better support trans and non-binary youth in their journeys? This introductory workshop equips those working with young people to create safer and more affirming environments. Through key concepts, real-life experiences, and practical tools, participants will leave better prepared to adapt their practices, use the right language, and support youth with confidence, regardless of where they are in their gender journey. Case studies, practical exercises, and discussion will be part of the session.

Pascale (PJay) Joëlle (they/all pronouns) is the founder of Hello Gender, a bilingual initiative that supports organizations and communities in building more inclusive gender diversity practices. Working at the intersection of training, strategy, and storytelling, PJay creates practical and engaging learning spaces and turns complex issues into accessible, lasting action. Whether in community settings or on stage, they believe in the power of thoughtful conversations to transform workplaces, services, and relationships.
