The opening ceremony will officially launch the 2SLGBTQIA+ Provincial Health Summit. This welcoming moment will present the main intentions of the event, recognize partners, and open these three days of reflection, dialogue and mobilization around equity, inclusion and access to care.
The ceremony will include an opening moment led by Jesse Brandon Sabattis, anchoring the Summit in an approach rooted in recognition, respect, and listening to Indigenous knowledge, presence and perspectives.
