The first day of the Summit continues in music with a concert featuring local artists, in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Step into the vibrant world of New Brunswick band Écarlate: a moving and uplifting artistic experience where plurality, community and healing come together — at the very heart of the Summit's spirit. For the occasion, Écarlate will be joined on stage by Myriam Thomas (she/her), and the evening will open with a first set by Sylvie Boulianne (she/her) and Maggie Savoie (she/her).

Écarlate is a Moncton-based trio made up of Clémence Langlois (she/her), Daphnée McIntyre (they/she) and Samuel LeBlanc (he/him). Honoured at Accros de la chanson and the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, and semi-finalists at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, they captivate with music that is luminous, poetic and striking. Their EP Fleur de peau (2023), produced by Benoit Morier (Lisa LeBlanc), earned them "Recording of the Year" at the Prix Musique NB. With their album Coup de soleil (2025), produced by Katrine Noël and Mico Roy (Les Hay Babies, Les Hôtesses d'Hilaire), Écarlate affirms a signature sound blending vocal harmonies, modern folk and pop sensibility.

Originally from Baie Sainte-Marie (N.S.), Sylvie Boulianne grew up surrounded by the sound of the waves and folk and traditional music. Her compositions bear the imprint of her Acadian roots and her coastal homeland, in a heartfelt meeting of tradition, gentleness and creativity.

A singer-songwriter since 2015, Maggie Savoie is first and foremost a guitarist. Her folk-rooted world, shaped by blues and rock influences, stands out for melodies that seem simple yet are richly crafted, carried by a voice and lyrics of striking authenticity.

A storyteller from the Acadian Peninsula, Myriam Thomas stands out for her warm, narrative voice and an eclectic, multidisciplinary practice. Her writing and gentle voice invite you into a world that is at times mystical, at times tragic, but always playful.
